Moving & Assisting People Safely in Care
This one day course has been specifically designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves assisting and moving people. It is ideal for those working in a variety of health and social care environments such as care homes.
Learners will develop the knowledge and skills relevant to the safe moving and handling of people. Topics covered include: common handling injuries, the potential impact on a person if moved incorrectly, personal handling plans, preserving dignity, health and safety when moving a person and using equipment.
